About the Course Author - Pete Macinta

Pete Macinta was raised as Roman Catholic, but turned to Satanism prior to his teenage years, and to pantheism as a teenager. However, he was witnessed to by obedient Christians in various ways and committed his life to Christ January 1970. A few weeks later, he received the call to the Gospel Ministry.

He graduated in 1974 from Northeast Bible Institute, Green Lane, Pennsylvania. Shortly afterwards, the school became Northeast Bible College and Pete took an additional course to earn his Bachelor's of Science degree in Bible.

He has ministered in a variety of ways to all age groups and was an assistant pastor of an Assemblies of God (AOG) church in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania. Pete later went on to pastor churches in Eagle Mills, North Carolina; Triadelphia, West Virginia; and Flintstone, Maryland.

Pete also has been an announcer for Christian radio, and a newspaper reporter. He volunteered in Maryland Emergency Services for more than seven years, attaining the level of Cardiac Rescue Technician.

He is currently pastor of Cornerstone Assembly Independent Pentecostal (formerly Assembly of God) in Cambridge, Maryland, which he and Dorcas, his wife, started in 1992.
